Yasin Ekmen
Istanbul Arbitration Center / Secretary General
Yasin EKMEN serves as the Secretary General of the Istanbul Arbitration Center. His LLB is from Marmara University, Faculty of Law and his LLM is from the Faculty of Law, University of Cardiff. He is currently a PhD candidate in the department of International Private Law at Ankara University, Faculty of Law.
He played an active role in the preparation of the Law on Istanbul Arbitration Center, and the establishment of the Istanbul Arbitration Center. While working at TOBB, he was also a member of the Arbitration Working Group of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Turkey. He is also one of the representatives of Turkiye at the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
He further played an active role in the establishment of the Jerusalem Arbitration Centre and the OIC Arbitration Center.
