Can Korkut is a civil engineer with more than 18 years of extensive experience in construction industry. He specialises in delay and disruption analysis, project planning and project controls, claims preparation and defence, and project management. He is an appointed delay expert and has assisted delay experts several times.
He has extensive experience in large scale and complex construction projects specifically shopping malls, hotels and resorts, high-rise offices and residential buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, nuclear power plants, airports, large scale mixed-use developments and rail projects.
Can has in-depth knowledge in prospective and retrospective delay analysis methodologies, critical path analysis, disruption and concurrency, and offers extensive experience in claims and dispute resolution, project management and project controls.
He holds a master’s degree in construction law and arbitration. Can is a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors certified expert witness, a member of the Academy of Experts and a member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
